My Fit Foods Review: Part 2

I’ve had the chance to try out some more products from MFF, so I’m going to review those products right now.

First though, I must say, I’ve been eating terribly the past almost 2 weeks. I sorta lost my desire to care. I’ve been eating out, eating unhealthy foods, and not exercising at all. I’ve even been eating a lot of sweets. I’m ready to get back into the swing of healthy eating though.

I’ve decided to keep buying the pre-made foods from MFF to make things easier and to hopefully get me back on track.

Here are my reviews!

Fit To Go-320 calories

This snack is pretty simple: apple slices, a hard boiled egg, grapes, and peanut butter. Obviously I could have put this snack together super easily by myself, but it’s just too convenient buying it pre-made from MFF. This snack was good, although I don’t really like apples, so I only ate a little bit of the apples. I give it a 5/10.

Picnic Time-310 calories

I had to use the image off of MFF’s website because I kept forgetting to take pictures. Sorry! This snack was also simple but delicious and definitely one of my favorite snacks. It includes almonds, dried cranberries, nut thin crackers, cubed cheese, apples, and grapes. I give it a 7/10.

Egg-o-licious-260 calories

MFF’s egg salad is soo tasty! I really do love it better than my egg salad. And the nut thin crackers they serve with it are perfect! I give this one a 9/10.

Brian’s Fit Chicken Enchiladas-470 calories (Medium)

First off, these enchiladas were very filling! It was 470 calories for 3 enchiladas served with black beans and chopped tomatoes. The enchiladas were a little spicy and I also added some medium salsa because I love salsa. The black beans were seasoned nicely and overall this dinner was a winner. This dinner gets a 9/10.

Blazin’ Cajun Shrimp-300 calories (Medium)

This meal is sorta like a spicy Cajun shrimp dish served over dirty rice. This meal is my least favorite so far. It lacked depth. It tasted spicy but without the flavor. I most likely won’t buy this meal again, unless if I decide to give them a second chance. Everybody has off days, right? I give this one a 4/10.

Zesty Shrimp and Scallops-310 calories (Medium)

It looks soupy in the picture, and it definitely was indeed soupy. Nonetheless, it was still really yummy! It’s a spicy Alfredo-like sauce served over zucchini “noodles” with shrimp and scallops. I served this meal with some toasted wheat bread with garlic salt for a perfect Italian meal. Oh, since it was a little watery (zucchini does that!) I added some shredded mozzarella cheese to help thicken it. This meal is a total win and scores a 9/10.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap-410 calories

This tasty wrap is filled with chopped chicken, cucumbers, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and a creamy buffalo-like sauce. I really enjoyed this wrap, but I didn’t think it tasted like buffalo. It definitely wasn’t spicy like I was hoping, but it tasted great! It was served with carrots and a blue cheese dipping sauce that was fantastic. I can’t wait to eat this wrap again soon. I give this one an 8/10.

Pesto Chicken-340 calories (Medium)

This meal was downright delicious. It was sliced chicken breast served over zucchini “noodles” with a very tasty pesto sauce on the side served with cherry tomatoes. This dish, unlike the shrimp over zucchini noodles, wasn’t watery at all. It was perfect. I was surprised how good healthy pesto can taste. I also served this meal with some garlic bread for the perfect quick dinner. I rate this meal a 9/10.

That’s all of my reviews for now. I’ve got a couple more snacks and 4 more dinners to try out this week, so I’ll have a part 3 review post coming this weekend.

Have a great week everybody!

  1. I hope you’re getting back on track, although I completely understand going through a not caring phase! But, I know you can do this! You’ve already done so much. Also, you’ve inspired me to start running. I’ve been reading your posts about trying to get into running and last week I started training for a 5k. You should know, I hate running more than most anything, so this is a big deal!
Keep up the good work, Lynds! You’re inspiring to others!
